Carrot Halwa made healthier with Pluck One Stevia Brown
Serves: 3-4 Cooking Time: 10 minutes
½ Kg Carrots
1.5 cups Milk
1 tbsp Ghee
25 gms (Approx ⅛ Cup) Pluck One Stevia Brown
Few pieces of halved Cashew (Optional)
Pinch of Cardamom (Elaichi)
Wash, peel and grate the carrots using a hand grater. Leave aside.
1.Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a thick bottomed pan on a medium flame. Add Cashews and fry till golden brown.
2.Now add the grated carrots and stir well for a minute. You will notice the colour deepening and the carrots getting a sheen. At this stage add milk and make sure to stir well.
3.When the milk evaporates, turn the heat to low and add Pluck One Stevia Brown. Mix well.
4.Lastly, add the cardamom (Elaichi) and mix in.
4.Can be served warm or cold according to preference.
