
Magaj Laddoos (Besan Laddoos using coarse Besan/Gram Flour)
A protein packed sweet treat made healthy using Stevia Brown. This laddoo is a great accompaniment to your meals or even as an in-between meal snack!
Ingredients:
500 gms Magaj Laddoo Flour (Coarse Besan/Gram Flour)
750 gms Ghee
½ Cup Stevia Brown
Cardamom to taste
Method:
- Heat a thick bottomed pan. Turn the heat to low and add ghee.
- Once the ghee is heated, roast the Flour making sure to stir constantly.
- Stir till the mixture gives off a rich aroma and turns into a golden colour (Do not overcook!)
- Remove from heat and spread onto a plate to cool.
- Once cool, add Stevia Brown and cardamom (elaichi). Mix well.
- Roll out into laddoos using hands.
- Store in a dry container. Consume within few days for best taste.
